Following an earlier career in the London Fire Brigade, Toby spent 14 years working for high quality residential house builders Berkeley Homes and Millgate Homes.

Managing a range of different projects from one-off bespoke country homes to large multi-phase regeneration projects along with a number of private developments.

During that period Toby acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of Construction Management and Property Development, as well as winning numerous industry quality and safety awards.

In 2014, Toby gained membership to the Chartered Institute of Building via the experienced practitioner exam-based entry route which in turn provided the impetus to start Hursley Developments.
